Returns & Refunds Policy
At Testermans, we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with our products. If you find yourself needing to return an item, we’re here to facilitate the process.
Before Initiating a Return
We encourage you to contact us at sales@testermans.co.uk or call 01945 738112 before returning any products. This allows us to provide you with the best possible service and ensure that your return is handled efficiently.
Returns
- You have 14 calendar days from the day after the goods are received to initiate a return, and 14 days from initiating the return for us to receive the item back.
- Items must be unused, in the original condition, with all components and original packaging.
- A receipt or proof of purchase is necessary for all returns.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable unless the product is damaged or defective.
Returning Faulty/Damaged Goods
We hope you never receive faulty or damaged items, but if you do, we will resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Upon receiving the returned item, we will assess the fault and typically dispatch a replacement immediately. In some cases, we may do so even before receiving the faulty item if we can expedite the claim with the manufacturer. Any refund due will include shipping and return costs. Please note that for overseas customers, we cannot refund or compensate for taxes, duties, or other charges paid to third parties. We can only refund the costs paid directly to us, which include the price of the goods and the shipping fees.
Return Policy for Change of Mind Purchases
Purchases made online, by mail, or over the phone can be returned within 14 days of receiving the goods. The 14-day period starts from the day after the goods are received. We will refund the cost of the goods and, if you chose a standard delivery option, we will refund the standard delivery cost. However, if you opted for a more expensive delivery method, we will still only refund the standard delivery cost. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. Please note that for overseas customers, we cannot refund or compensate for taxes, duties, or other charges paid to third parties, and any charges incurred by us in returning goods (customs taxes, penalties, and duties) will be deducted from any refund due.
Returns for Non-Payment or Refusal of Duties
If the recipient refuses to pay any duties, taxes, or customs charges, or if the package is refused and returned to us, any costs incurred will be deducted from your refund. This includes return shipping fees, customs fees, and other related costs. In some cases, these fees may exceed the original shipping charge.
Legal Compliance
Our policies adhere to the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008. The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 grant you additional rights in distance selling transactions, which we fully comply with.
Return Address & Recommendations
Please send all returns to: Testermans, Unit 4, Regal Road, Wisbech, Cambridgeshire PE13 2RQ. We recommend using a trackable shipping service. Testermans is not responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit. Items sold as part of a kit must be returned in full, unless a partial return has been agreed upon in advance.
